Games
Water run
Set up a number of sprinklers in between a starting line and a finish line. Have your children try to run from one end to the other without getting sprayed by the sprinklers. Give each child a turn to control the tap, turning it on and off at random. The child who gets the least wet, wins. If you have water restrictions in your area, use water from the swimming pool if you have one.

Water-gun tag
Get everyone into their swimming costumes and play tag. Whoever is “It” gets the water gun and tries to tag the other players with a cold squirt.
Beach ball race
Inflate two beach balls and have the children swimming along in the pool pushing the beach ball with their noses. The child who reaches the end of the pool first is the winner. If you have more than 2 kids who want to play, divide them into relay teams and have them compete against each other.
