As any divorced parent knows, sharing kids after the break up is never easy. But somehow, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have managed to learn how to successfully co-parent and put their kids first.
In a recent chat with actress Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress and Goop founder explained how “in a way” her divorce and relationship with her ex is now better than their marriage was!
“Chris and I committed to putting them first, and that’s harder than it looks because some days you really don’t want to be with the person that you are getting divorced from. But if you’re committed to having family dinner, then you do it. You take a deep breath and you look the person in the eye, and you remember your pact,” she said.

She admitted some days were harder than others but that they were just each doing their best to take “radical accountability” for their part in the relationship.
Gwyneth and Chris split in 2016 after 12 years of marriage and have two children, Moses and Apple. They’ve often described their split as “successful uncoupling”.
Gwyneth is now married to television writer Brad Falchuk.
